Wind & Water Adventures
Wind & Water Adventures offers locals and visitors adventure experiences in the natural world. We serve the community by helping customers develop adequate skills to harvest the energy of the wind and water for the joy of life.
It is our objective to create deeper ties and extend the network of wind and water sports enthusiasts through teaching, coaching, and supporting sportspeople, focusing on the instruction of kiteboarding, but with the ability to provide other wind and water sports instruction upon request of customers

Talented rider lesson: Review and master the basics. Your goal is to be able to ride both ways and control speed to stay upwind consistently.
Focused lesson: Take your riding to the next level. Your goal is to improve a specific skill and technique.

If you need some form of exhilaration in your life, become a kiteboarder. Kiteboarding is a complex sport, having a coach that knows the skills is key to getting started. When I booked with Wind & Water Adventures I had some of the basics down, but I didn't grasp the fundamentals. Alicia connected the dots and allowed me to develop confidence. Having a female instructor who knows the sport inside and out is a rare find, but having a female instructor who knows the sport and who's willing to effectively teach you is golden. It is also important to feel safe, having a coach who has enough experience and that helps your progress helps me feel safe.
I recently took kiteboarding lessons with Alicia, and I can honestly say she’s an amazing instructor! She’s got a real passion for the sport, and it shows in how she teaches. I was a little nervous starting out, but Alicia made me feel comfortable right away with her calm and friendly approach.
Alica is an amazing kiteboarding instructor! She’s patient, knowledgeable, and makes learning both fun and safe. Her passion for the sport is contagious, and she tailors her lessons to suit every skill level. Highly recommended for anyone looking to progress quickly and confidently on the water!
Alica is the best kiteboarding teacher ever! We had a kite control lesson at the beach with my mom. She made everything easy to understand and super fun. I was a little nervous at first, but she helped me feel really confident. I can’t wait to take a lesson in the water!
I booked a kitesurfing lesson for my son and I, and overall, it was a great experience. Alicia was very accommodating to our schedule, she made the lesson both fun and safe, she is an excellent instructor, very patient, kind and encouraging. In the beginning I had trouble maneuvering the kite, but with her help I was able to keep it in the air. She took my son to another level. I was excited to see him take a couple of short rides by the end of our first lesson. We highly recommend Wind & Water Adventures.
My dad and I had a lesson with Alicia at Wind & Water Adventures in Salter Path. If you're looking to learn kite surfing, hit her up. She's a very good instructor. The lesson was super fun and exciting. Despite being two of us I was able to give the board a try. Whether you're a total beginner or want to improve your skills, she's got you covered. Highly recommend her, we had a blast!
I had such an incredible experience at Wind And Water Adventures! I did my session in the sound and at this location there was no fighting waves, strong currents, and boats in the water and no fighting for space with tourists and trying to protect my gear from wayward unsupervised dogs or people! The quality of instruction was top-notch and I was able to progress very quickly with an incredibly knowledgeable instructor who could identify and correct issues immediately instead of saying “it just takes time/practice” like I had been told at another school. I went from months of frustration to riding in a matter of minutes! Incredible customer service coordinating availability based on wind and my schedule and excellent communication before, during and after my session. Facilities were fantastic and it was nice to have access to a clean restroom with a shower! I am looking forward to MANY more adventures with WWA!

- Your deposit is 100% refundable due to weather cancellation (determined at least 24h in advance).
- Customers may reschedule with a minimum of 72h in advance and retain their deposit.
- Your deposit is non-refundable for no-show or canceling with less than 72h.
